Why would I invite a user?

The owner of a Business Account may invite multiple users to use the account. Each invited user may be assigned different operating rights to the account. For example, one user may have the right to deposit funds, while a different user may also have the right to manage other users.

How do I view my list of users?
  1. Place your mouse pointer over the Users menu.
    The Users menu options are displayed.
  2. Click the Manage Users menu option.
    The User Management page is opened.

Optionally: Filter displayed information.

  1. Select an option in the Filter by field.
  2. Click the Apply Filters button.
How do I manage user access rights?

The operating rights allocated to a user depend on the user group to which the user is linked. If a user is not linked to any user group, then the user cannot log into the Business Account. To manage user access rights, manage the respective user group.

Can I search for a specific user?
  1. Place your mouse pointer over the Users menu.
    The Users menu options are displayed.
  2. Click the Manage Users menu option.
    The User Management page is opened.
  3. Type the full or partial name of the user in the Search field and press Enter or click the arrow button next to the Search field.
    The displayed list of users contains only those whose names match the entered search string.
How do I edit the details of an existing user?
  1. Place your mouse pointer over the Users menu.
    The Users menu options are displayed.
  2. Click the Manage Users menu option.
    The User Management page is opened.
  3. Click the ⋮ icon in the last column for the row representing the user you want to edit.
    The action menu is opened.
  4. Click the Edit user details menu option.
    The Edit User page is opened.
  5. Edit the details of the user as needed.
  6. Click the Continue button.
    Your changes are saved.
How do I invite a new user to join my account?
  1. Place your mouse pointer over the Users menu.
    The Users menu options are displayed.
  2. Click the Manage Users menu option.
    The User Management page is opened.
  3. Click the Add User button in the top right corner.
    The Add User page is opened.
  4. Provide the details for the new user: Title, First Name, Last Name, and Email Address.
  5. Select an existing user group in the User Group field or select an option to create a new user group.
    If you select the Create New User Group option in this field, you will be redirected to the Add User Group page.
  6. If a verification code is displayed, note down this verification code and provide to the user via a secure channel.
  7. Click the Continue button to save the provided information and create a registration invitation for the new user.
How do I reactivate a user?
  1. Place your mouse pointer over the Users menu.
    The Users menu options are displayed.
  2. Click the Manage Users menu option.
    The User Management page is opened.
  3. Click the ⋮ icon in the last column for the row that represents the user that you want to reactivate.
    The action menu is opened.
  4. Click the Activate user menu option.

Note

This option is available only for users who are deactivated.
A confirmation window is opened.

  1. Click the Confirm button in the confirmation window.
    The user is activated.
Is it necessary to have the user verification code?

The user verification code is an optional setting that may be used for extra security.

How and where is the user verification code used?

The user verification code is only required when a new user accepts an invitation to gain access to an account. It does not need to be saved for future reference.

How do I deactivate a user?
  1. Place your mouse pointer over the Users menu.
    The Users menu options are displayed.
  2. Click the Manage Users menu option.
    The User Management page is opened.
  3. Click the ⋮ icon in the last column for the row representing the user you want to deactivate.
    The action menu is opened.
  4. Click the Deactivate user menu option.

Note

This option is available only for users who are already registered and activated. It is not available for users that have been invited but are not registered.
A confirmation window is opened.

  1. Click the Confirm button in the confirmation window.
    The user is deactivated.
What is the user verification code?

The user verification code is a unique code that provides extra security. A new user must enter this number to accept an invitation and gain access to the Business Account.

What is the safest way to communicate the verification code to the user?

To reduce the chance of an unauthorized party gaining access to your account, communicate the user verification code during a phone call, in a separate email, or text message.

How do I switch the user verification code on/off?
  1. Place your mouse pointer over your username displayed in the top right corner of the page.
    The account menu options are displayed.
  2. Click the Account Settings menu option.
    The Account Settings page is opened.
  3. Select an appropriate value in the Use Invite Verification Code field.
  4. Click the Save Settings button.
How do I reset a user verification code?

If you sent the invitation but either forgot to write down the user verification code or made a mistake when writing it down, you can reset the verification code.

  1. Place your mouse pointer over the Users menu.
    The Users menu options are displayed.
  2. Click the Manage Users menu option.
    The User Management page is opened.
  3. Click the ⋮ icon in the last column for the row representing the user for which you want to reset the verification code.
    The action menu is opened.
  4. Click the Reset verification code menu option.

This option is available only for users who have a pending user invitation.
A confirmation window is opened.

  1. Click the Confirm button in the confirmation window.
    A new user verification code is displayed.
How do I cancel a pending user invitation?
  1. Place your mouse pointer over the Users menu.
    The Users menu options are displayed.
  2. Click the Manage Users menu option.
    The User Management page is opened.
  3. Click the ⋮ icon in the last column for the row representing the user for which you want to cancel the invitation.
    The action menu is opened.
  4. Click the Cancel pending user invitation menu option.

Note

This option is available only for users who have not yet registered.

A confirmation window is opened.

  1. Click the Confirm button in the confirmation window.
    The invitation is canceled.
What happens if a new user enters the wrong verification code?

If a new user enters the wrong verification code when accepting an invitation, they will receive an error message and need to contact the account owner for the correct/new verification code.

How can I sort user history?
  1. Place your mouse pointer over the Users menu.
    The Users menu options are displayed.
  2. Click the User History menu option.
    The User History page is opened.
  3. Click the column heading to toggle sorting based on data in that column. Every time you click the column heading, the status is toggled between unsorted, ascending, or descending.
    You can sort the log using any column except the Description .
How do I resend a new user invitation?
  1. Place your mouse pointer over the Users menu.
    The Users menu options are displayed.
  2. Click the Manage Users menu option.
    The User Management page is opened.
  3. Click the ⋮ icon in the last column for the row representing the user for which you want to resend the invitation.
    The action menu is opened.
  4. Click the Resend user invitation menu option.

This option is available only for users who have a pending user invitation.

A confirmation window is opened.

  1. Click the Confirm button in the confirmation window.
    The invitation is sent again.
HHow can I export user history?

Important

Only a thousand records may be viewed or exported at a time. To access older records, use the filters on the User History page.

  1. Place your mouse pointer over the Users menu.
    The Users menu options are displayed.
  2. Click the User History menu option.
    The User History page is opened.
  3. Click the Download to CSV link below the list of entries.
    When the file generation process is complete, the Download to CSV link will be replaced by a Download File link.
  4. Click the Download File link to download the CSV file.
Why don't I have all the functionality of the Business Account?

The Business Account owner sets access criteria for each user. Please get in touch with the appropriate person at your company if you have a specific question regarding your user access rights for this account.

What information can I find in user history?

User history is a record of all actions done within your account. It contains information on who performed the action and when it was done. Entries are categorised into several activity types. Activity types are further categorised into different subtypes.
