What information will I need to link a bank account?
Linking a bank account is quick and easy. Provide a new account name, the account holder's name, and the address of the bank. The remaining information will be populated automatically.
Why wasn't my accountholder's name accepted?
Check to ensure the account holder's name is entered exactly how it appears on the bank account.
How do I link a new bank account?
- Place your mouse pointer over the Funds menu.
The Funds menu options are displayed. - Click the Linked Bank Accounts menu option.
The Linked Bank Accounts page is opened. - Click the Link Account button in the top right corner to link a new bank account.
The Link Bank Account page is opened. - Enter the bank account details:
- Enter an Assigned Account Name: This is a name for your bank account that will identify it our system.
- Enter the Account Holder's Name: This is the name of the bank account owner as provided to the bank. If you don't know this name, check your bank statement.
- Select the Bank Account Currency: This is the currency of your bank account.
- Select the Bank Location: This is the country of origin, that is the country where your bank branch is located.
- Enter the Bank Name: This is the full bank name.
- Enter the Bank Address: This is the street address of your bank.
- Enter the Branch Address: This is the street address of your bank branch.
- Enter the IBAN Number: This is the International Bank Account Number. Ensure you provide the full IBAN, including the two-letter country code, at the beginning.
- Enter the Bank Code: This is the code used to uniquely identify your bank in the country of origin.
- Enter the Branch Code: This is the code used to uniquely identify your bank branch in the country of origin.
- Enter the Account Type: This information helps identify the type of account.
- Enter the Account Number: This is the local bank account number, that is, the account number as used within your country of origin.
- Enter the SWIFT Code: The international standard code identifies your bank branch but not the account. If you don't know your bank branch SWIFT code, check your bank statement or contact your bank to provide you with this information.
- Click the Continue button to link a new bank account.
Important
For your security, Nium needs to verify your account information. When you link a new account, send a bank statement to [email protected] This bank statement must be recent (up to 3 months old). It must have your account holder's name, your IBAN/account number, and the bank logo. If you do not provide Nium with this information, it may cause delays when you try to deposit or return funds.
Why wasn't my new bank account name accepted?
Your bank account name may already exist in our system. Choose a unique name that clearly describes your bank account.
How do I view my bank account details?
- Place your mouse pointer over the Funds menu.
The Funds menu options are displayed. - Click the Linked Bank Accounts menu option.
The Linked Bank Accounts page is opened. - Click the value in the Assigned Name column for the row representing the bank account you want to view.
- The View Linked Bank Account page is opened with all bank account details.
How do I deposit money from a bank account to a funding account?
- Place your mouse pointer over the Funds menu.
The Funds menu options are displayed. - Click the Linked Bank Accounts menu option.
The Linked Bank Accounts page is opened. - Click the ⋮ icon in the last column for the row representing the bank account from which you want to deposit money.
The action menu is opened. - Click the Deposit from bank account menu option.
The Deposit From Bank Account page is opened. - In the Deposit To field, select the funding account to which funds are deposited.
- Select the Provider's Bank Account using the Provider's Bank Account field.
- Enter the amount to deposit in the Amount field.
A summary is displayed. - Click the Confirm button.
The Deposit Instructions page is displayed. This page contains all the details you need to manually make the deposit.
How long does it take for the bank transfer to be deposited?
If all information required for a bank deposit is entered correctly, the deposit should take 1-3 days to be affected. The range depends on the currency being deposited. Can I cancel a bank transfer out of my funding account?

Check to make sure the bank name is entered exactly how it appears on your bank account.
I made an error in my bank details?
Bank accounts cannot be edited. However, you may unlink the bank account and then link it again using the correct details
Where can I find how much money is available in my funding accounts?
- Place your mouse pointer over the Funds menu.
The Funds menu options are displayed. - Click the Funding Accounts menu option.
The Funding Accounts page is opened.
The information you seek is available in the Available Balance column.
How do I unlink an existing bank account?
- Place your mouse pointer over the Funds menu.
The Funds menu options are displayed. - Click the Linked Bank Accounts menu option.
The Linked Bank Accounts page is opened. - Click the ⋮ icon in the last column for the row representing the bank account you want to unlink.
The action menu is opened. - Click the Unlink bank account menu option.
A confirmation window is opened. - Click the Confirm button in the confirmation window.
The bank account is unlinked.
How do I withdraw money from a funding account to a bank account?
- Place your mouse pointer over the Funds menu.
The Funds menu options are displayed. - Click the Funding Accounts menu option.
The Funding Accounts page is opened. - Click the ⋮ icon in the last column for the row representing the funding account from which you want to withdraw money.
The action menu is opened. - Click the Withdraw to Bank Account menu option.
The Withdraw Funds From Funding Account page is opened. - In the Withdraw To field, select the bank account to which you want to withdraw money.
- Enter the amount to withdraw in the Amount field.
- Click Confirm.
Your withdrawal is complete.
Note
redit funds cannot be withdrawn from funding accounts.
Some icons or buttons are greyed out, what do I do?
The Business Account owner sets access criteria for each user. Please get in touch with the appropriate person at your company if you have a specific question regarding your user access rights for this account.
I accidentally unlinked a bank account?
Once the information has been unlinked, it can't be retrieved. Please link the bank details again.
